I am quite fond of Japanese memorabilia. They seem to create such interesting curios, with immaculate attention to detail, e. g., Japanese mini LP replica CDs, Obi strips, etc. I do not know the language, but the characters are lovely and look nice on posters and record sleeves.
Presented here are scans of a selection of Beatles-related Japanese publications. The first two pics of John are from a New Music Magazine feature on Bob Gruen's photographs, so it also features other prominent musicians like David Bowie, Bob Dylan and Mick Jagger. The next three are from a Japanese program for the Imagine: John Lennon documentary, including a copy of the ticket and a receipt. The rest of the photos are some excellent shots from Wings' May 24, 1976, concert at Madison Square Garden during the "Wings Over America" tour.

One of the most comprehensive Beatles photo blogs I've come across... Hope to see more updates in the future:)
Any chance you could scan the text part of the article too? I've been looking for proof that during this press conference the John & Paul said Nilsson is their favorite performer and group. Maybe there's something in this article relating to that (?). Thanks and keep up the great blog.
WWW.replicaticket.com has a replica of the Buddokan concert ticket available. It is pretty neat. They also have hunderds of other Beatles concerts.
